Prague – the new metro stations for Line A are almost ready

On the 6th of April 2015 the four new metro stations of the Prague’s metro Line A will be officially opened. The Line A, now ending at Dejvicka, has been extended till Nemocnice Motol with 6 kilometres of new tracks. The four new stations are: Borislavka, Nadrazi Veleslavin, Petriny and Nemocnice Motol.

The station Nadrazi Veleslavin will be particularly important, as many regional buses now stopping at Dejvicka will be ending their routes in this new station, substantially unloading the traffic on Evropska street.

Even the route of bus n. 119, connecting the airport with the city, will be slightly modified. The bus will no more end its route at Dejvicka, but at the new station of Nadrazi Veleslavin. Please pay attention then, as from the 6th of April 2015, in order to get to the center from the airport with the bus n. 199,  you will have to exit at Nadrazi Veleslavin and than take a metro or a tram.
