The Old Jewish Cemetery
The Old Jewish Cemetery is the second most ancient Jewish cemetery in Europe. It’s located in Josefov, the former Jewish district of Prague, among ancient synagogues and other attractions. The cemetery was founded in the 15th Century and the oldest existing tomb is dated 23th of April 1439. In this cemetery you can find tombs from many different periods: long and black gothic tombs, marbel stones from 16th Century, decorations from the renaissance, mighty baroque tombs and even some rococo ones.
